It's the most wonderful time of the year, and I’m not just talking about Christmas. I'm also talking about the time of year when you get to buy your loved ones meaningful items from their wish lists and see their faces light up! A few of my favourite ways to use my mat throughout the day are:


  • In the Morning - To start my day, I stand on my mat for a few minutes while breathing deeply. This leaves me feeling incredibly charged up and is such an energising way to start my day. It’s seriously more effective than coffee for me!
  • After Work - Working on my laptop leaves me with a sore neck and tight back and I don’t do as much yoga as I should to counteract this. Luckily, a few minutes lying with the pillow under my neck and the acupressure mat under my back does wonders to restore my body to a pain-free state.
  • When I’m Anxious - Deep breathing and yoga were my previous go to for anxiety but since I got my mat, it is my new favourite tool to manage my anxiety. Something about lying on the spiky petals helps me immediately feel so present and connected to my body, and I also feel like I’m able to breathe deeper.
  • Before Bed - I love lying on my mat before bed for a longer duration. It helps to calm my mind down and I just get so relaxed and sleepy. I’ve replaced playing on my phone before bed with a lying down meditation on my YOKE Acupressure mat and I feel so much better.

This mat is so wonderful and versatile it really is a must-have for anyone invested in self-care.
